Meydan means “square” — an open, public space. True to the name, we are building a place where anyone can walk in, lay out their thinking, and carry each other's reflections further.
Why a square
A square has no center. Instead of someone taking the stage, everyone speaks at the same height. Meydan is not a place for verdicts; it is a place where we learn, together, to ask better questions.
Four corners
People, the world, works, and original writing. The square opens in four directions: reflections on psychology, relationships and ethics; on society, history and collective phenomena; on the characters and philosophies inside films and novels; and the writing of your own that grows on top of all of it.
From inquiry to creation
It doesn't end with reading and thinking. Explore a subject you care about in depth, and then create your own writing on the ground of that inquiry. That is the movement Meydan is built around.
